Minor to be selected in a field acceptable to the chairs of the major and minor programs. (21) semester hours

Required

HIST 1133 Survey of American History to 1865
HIST 1233 Survey of American History since 1865
HIST 1333 Survey of Western Civilization
HIST 1433 Survey of Western Civilization

9 additional semester hours to be selected with approval of the chair.


Minor:    A minimum of twelve semester hours of approved courses in history with the exception that education majors electing a divided minor may be approved for a nine-hour minor by the coordinator.
